i am thinkin about driven blue to columbia for the acro crhistmas party from the upstate. since haulin it is not a good option.11th of dec. it should be a reg. truck agin and be a weekend driver. but the real question is should i drive it to the event or wus out and not take it for fear of the unpredictable.

yeah it was its such a long trip for the first time out in 2 years and bein cut in half. i took it out last night put about 150 miles on it and drove it to work this mornin all is good except for when i took the center caps off for to check the lugs the allen screw was stuck and i broke the head off. but i did get to the lugs with out hurting anything else.
i had to do some parkin lot pimpin and take a pic. its dirty so i used my phone lol.

thanks i am plannin on it as long as we are not getting and freezeing stuff lol. i put the windsheild wippers on and rewired my door poper, changed my oil check wires. everything is checkin out g for go lol. also everyone in town is likein it and the cops been cool so far. even talked to a cop while i was fixin a small problem on the road side.

oh and one redneck teenager said i proble should put a lift on it at the auto part store so i lifted while his girl was checkin it out as i pulled off. i guess she liked the mud on my tires lol.

do a lot of bodydropped trucks get ticketed all the time or were you worried about getting ticketed for something else? just curious, since you said no tickets, i don't have any idea what the laws are in nc about stuff like that...that would suck to build a truck and then get ticketed everytime you took it out lol

yeah i was wondering about why he said no tickets lol, ive took mine out around here a good amount of times and never got ticketed... i even live a mile away from a state trooper station lol... myrtle beach cops can be pricks too so maybe i just been lucky (knockin on wood)

i know when i had my lowered dime that i drove every day i was always getting pulled for some BS. when i had bags i was usually preety high up riding around and never got pulled. I was driving my lowered orange prelude i was pulled over for driving a yellow prelude what kind of bs is that.

i drove my truck a total of 4 months after it was bagged...i averaged 2 tickets a month. they all got thrown out tho, because they were all BS.

lol, but any who. see this is was the first ride out in a while so i didnt know what to exspect. i know i had issue with my my tag light and thats a easy thing for em to pull you over with. the issue was i forgot to install one. then the factor of reaching a top speed of 95 on the way had something to do with being glad not to get pulled over. most of the time i had my truck i got pulled over all the time. it was primmered and what not but when i did the burgandy color after the body drop no issues at all. id ride every where just above the reflectors. i have also had cops come up and talk to me about the truck and they look at it and go about their way. friday night i had it out and i pulled over and checked on my lug nuts and had a cop stop by asked me if everything was ok. with the bed raised i said no i just thought i felt a vibration, so he went on his way. i meet several cops around town and no problem not gettin tailed or anything.

as far as gettin tickets for body drops it seams the law could care less as long as you got proper lighting and dont drag it infront of em. NC you got to pass inspection witch is imissions check engin stuff, and all your normal stuff works like lights and signals. i ride in NC alot and i dont realy have any problems. neither do most of the people i know. i am sure if you have so hacked up lookin ride the inspection people will be like fix it i am sure.

i do have a fuel problem, its not pickin up gas from the 1/4 tank good and i got like half pedal then the truck is starvin for gas. so this could be the same thing or 2 seperate issues. since i ran some new lines and modified the pump i most likely need to check for a kinked line and the tub inside for the pump needs adjusting. put it runs good other than that.

yeah a buddy of mine NVR2LOW on here only got pulled over twice i know of while having a bagged 1st gen as a daily for a year or 2 around the beach, once was cuz no tag lights and the other cuz people were complaining he was blinding people or some crap on the blvd riding cali lol.

i dont have any tag lights right now either but i dont daily the truck or drive at night much, i dont have any mirrors and ride pretty low usually so i guess they could get me for that lol but think im gonna put some mirrors on it anyways

cali style i thought that was called the conway drop :dunno:, as far as mirrors i drove my old ford for years with out them. i got pulled over countless times and mirrors where not an issue, times actualy gettin a ticket ,once, to fast for conditions
