oh old post dig up ha ha

do not and i mean DO NOT buy anything from aim or http://www.airbagit.com/ or now fbi

go with sd.com, http://www.avsontheweb.com/home.php, https://www.silverstarcustoms.com/store/ "herd they stuff is kinda comeing out cheap looking nowadays", http://www.krisdyefabrication.com/catalog/ , http://www.lowriderdepot.com/

sd.com is my first choose, then avs, then low rider depot. low rider depot has a nice kit for a good price

the kia motors fit in the b series truck i believe but the b series trucks run good but are kinda slow. 2500 lbs bags are most common up front and are a lil bouncy, the gas tank cross member needs to be raised up some. i have seen alot of people cut the old one and raise it up and add plate back. bags on the bars about mid way are the best when you can do it, but if you do a link set up with the bags on the outside of the frame its a bit too much to the side it will work but would realy twist the link bar. you could do a wish bone type set up like the 5 link alot of people run from ssd. but longer is beter on the bar length for handlein with high lift. bags over axle is easiest to do and if you mono leaf the truck witch is a bad idea then it keeps it from twistin. but bag behind the axle is nice as long as you dont do the famous, but not real good, 2 link with the axle bolted to the bars. most people up front cut out the extra stuff and make a plate and use 2 gussets for the top and add a plate to the lower control arm. often a comon thing on the b series that dont want to spend the money on drop spindles flip the lower ball joint and lays 17s with a low profile tire. i got friends that all they did were mazda b series, one boy i know could lift your hood and start cutin off the stuff you dont need.

yea Alot of people had alot of issues with customer service in the past. I do have to say Joe is really steping it up and trying to handle ever single customer complaint peronally now. He is really trying to change the name his company got. I usually talk with him onver the net once a week and talk to Aaron every other day or so(due to the proto type work on the tundra). They are really doing alot of work to make the kit a complete bolt on. I am still unsure as how the bags will perform, Im going to give them a shot though I in the past have only ran some brackets and stuff from them never any bags or electronic parts.

and also i understand your dislike with them I know if i was done that way i would hold a grudge as well. I was done that when i ordered my first parts for a bag job froma local company ordered a 4 linkg and notch got 3 pieces of the notch and 2 bars cost me around 500.

well i was young and saved for my 76 Chevy to lower it. one the axle flip kit would not fit "was to wide", after talking with them i just cut it to fit. i was ok with that. the c-notch fit fine and i was happy. the front coils they sent were two different colors so i called and found out they sent two different ones and they did fix that "i payed the shipping for one spring to send back" and the thing that burned me was the spindles i order for my truck were wrong. the rotter would not fit. i called and they sad we have two different ones and i did not tell them i had the hd brakes. i was 16 and did not know they had different sizes. no one asked me when i was ordering stuff from them. he sad that he cant just switch them out because i order the wrong part....i was pissed because they did not ask which one i had and i did not know there different ones. so he sad i can return them but will have to pay a restocking fee and the shipping. i was mad i sad forget it they were only $200 or so. so i waited for like 4 weeks and just order the rite ones. i was just going to sell them at a swap meet or something. so i get the new spindles and the calipers would not fit. i ended up just ground a little off so the caliper would slide and i just done like the hole mini truckin thing that was going on and how he sad he retired but never left. so i am not just a guy that seen a bunch of crap on a forum and made up my mind off that and like most and jump on the sd band wagon. i did get used. but now at the shop i was at doing custom work we worked a lot with sd and i will say they are some bad ass guys and they raised the bar in the custom seen.

thats my 2cents

this deserves its own thread :)

i dont have any experience with them and doubt i ever will due to the mixed feedback i've read over the years and not much is good.

i went with AVS and SD parts myself and happy with em plus the customer service was good.

oh yeah, iv done alot of research on them on s10fourm.com and i know lots of ppl that had problems with them but it seems that most of the problems are from their electronics

I mean this what these forums are for spreading your expeireances not jsut well i know a guy who knows a guy who knew this guy that posted on the internet that this happened. and i think i heard the story on the spindles before from you somewhere kevin.
In my expierance thier service has been good to me I have order parts from them since I was 17. However like I posted above I have only used there brackets and stuff like that. never the electronics or bags On the tundra however i am going to be running everything from AIM front conrtol arms bag brackets shock kit bags. It is getting the first street scrapper for the 07-10 tundras. Aaron is also building a custom fuelcell to clear the frame rails. I will be running one of thier plug-n-play air compressor valve set-ups. On a side note i am setting up enough money to the side to buy a pair of a-z obd2's a accuair manifold and a set of ss re-8's(just incase something goes wrong).

i only ordered one thing from aim and that was way back in 03 when the truck first got bagged. ordered the dc5000 3/4 hp compressor, and that bitch is still pumpin air!!! but from all the horror stories ive heard, i would steer clear of those guys.
