on most seats you can usually bend the front brackets flat and bolt them to the floor, you'll get some additional head room, but sometimes nothing lines up with the floor, you can always make your own brackets & weld it to the track, then bolt your new brackets to the floor.may be an easier/less expensive route since you wouldn't have to be searching for a particular style of seat,+you can place your seat exactly where you want it:hmm:

it varies man,I would get a quote of at least 3 different upholstery shops, granted they all do good work you've seen,or check family, find somebody that can sow!my buddy dug a trench for some older lady in exchange she sowed his seats for him.....never hurts to ask:) also you can pick up a sewing machine from wal-mart for about $60-80 bucks, you could give it a shot yourself!

I've got cavy seats in my 98.... They bolted up pretty easy. Had to drill some holes though. But used the brackets off the 60/40 seats

dubs got cavi seats in his and it looks great. got my mustang buckets recovered for about 150 a piece. quoted another shop to get them redone and they told me about the same. so im guessin a cavi seat would be about that. the price didnt include material for me, b/c i had my own. But i'm sure it differs from shop to shop.
