Report your problems and comments in here not in the box in case i miss the complaint :P
So far it seems to work fine for everyone except Chad who says it's overlapping the threads.... but until i can duplicate the problem i can't really fix it =\
I've had a couple issues which i'm trying to fix still.
1. Sometimes it takes a few secs till the chat displays that i typed. Could be a refresh issue or my gay internet.
2. If i whore the box i've seen a "chat is being processed" and i have to refresh
That's all ive had so far but the box also hasnt been live for a long time at all.
Here is a list of commands and explanations on how to use them, some of them are real confusing and will take some time to get used to.
Regular Users and Donators will have different settings, such as faster refresh rates and some other things which i'll post about once all usergroup settings are done.
Command /ignore
If you want to hide messages from a specific user for personnal reasons, you can ignore him from the chatbox.
To ignore a user, you can do it with the items in the menu on the left of the chats or use one of the following syntax :
* /ignore on uid userid : Ignore the user identified by the userid passed as command parameter.
* /ignore on uname username : Ignore the user identified by the username passed as command parameter.
* /ignore off uid userid : Unignore the user identified by the userid passed as command parameter.
* /ignore off uname username : Unignore the user identified by the username passed as command parameter.
* /ignore show : Open a window where you can view your ignored users list and unignore them directly from that window.
Command me
This command works like on IRC, you just have to use the following syntax: me your_message.
If you don't know this command then dont proceed further lol.
Obviously put a / before me, i couldn't in here since it would turn into my user name 8)Command /pm
To send a private chat to an user, you can do it by using the menu on the left of the chats or by using one of the following syntaxes :
* /pm uid userid your_message : Send a private chat to the user identified by the userid passed as command parameter.
* /pm uname "userid" your_message : Send a private chat to the user identified by the username passed as command parameter.
* /pm your_message : Send a private chat to the last user to/from which you have received/sent a private chat.
Command /slap
This command lets you slap another user. To slap another user, you just have to use either the menu available on the left of the message or by using one of the following syntaxes:
* /slap uid userid : Slap the user whom userid is passed as command parameter.
* /slap uname username : Slap the user whom username is passed as command parameter.
Change your options, like colors and other things:
Click on the BB Code button in the bottom right corner of the box or
Go HERE (http://carolinatruckscene.com/forum/profile.php?do=editoptions) and scroll to the bottom
Fixed Bugs:
*Pop-up Box used to be unreadable, now the text is visible
Current Bugs:
*Box forces users to scroll down if a Image or Smiley is posted (might stay unsolved)
*Box doesnt always refresh the way it should (Pay attention to the spinning circle for now, if it doesnt stop then F5 or hit the box refresh button)
*It's been reported that majority of Cell Phones display a Security Token error when trying to type, and have heard Once about it doing this on IE so far
